ModernShade put a patio and pergola structure in our backyard and we love it! It turned a big chunk of useless concrete area to a super functional and beautiful outdoor space. Riley and Don were great to work with. The communicated well and were responsive. We had a couple of little issues that they jumped on quickly and took care of. They truly earned their five stars with both the product and service.

Project was delayed but Riley was very communicative and kept me updated on the progress. Once the shades were delivered, the team showed up ontime and had the shades installed quickly. Eddy and Kevin were very polite and professional. They answered every questions I had and were willing to solve a few unanticipated problems that arose during installation and got the installation done to my liking. We are currently in the middle of a year long backyard pool build, which has been a nightmare, but the only thing that had gone smoothly was working with Riley and getting our struXure installed. We enclosed a patio with electronic screens and installed heaters and a big screen tv. This has given us an extension to our house and we can now use our patio year round. We are very pleased with our new enclosed deck and recommend Modern Shade as a reputable and professional company. We were especially pleased that the electrician did not put any holes in our basement family room. The owner of the company was very available and kind in helping us bring this project to fruition. Modern Shade transformed my 2 acre property to be a lot more useable. The patio cover created a complete out door living space. Protected from wind and debris. Along with heat, misters, lighting, wall screens, speakers and automatic louvered ceilings. My pool cover is a floating deck that can be used for additional decking when open or closed. They installed a beautiful 4’ fence around my sport court with built in lighting. I own a large home building company in northern AZ. As a builder I would recommend them. Cory arrived exactly on time to present all of the information regarding a pergola structure to be built onto my home. He was professional and very kind. He explained everything thoroughly, giving several options to choose from, and heard everything I wanted and expected from adding a pergola. He answered questions completely and made sure I was happy with the choices, explanations, and the complete project before I made any decision. He was easy to work with and understood what my vision and goal was in adding a pergola. We had an outstanding experience with ModernShade. I did a lot of research on retractable sun screens and found the manufacturer that I wanted, and ModernShade was the closest business that worked with this manufacturer. The guys from ModernShade made the trip from SLC to St George to take measurements and show the color and fabric options and then again for the installation. Every interaction with them was positive - sales, installation, accounting - and the final result is absolutely stunning. The sun screen spans our 20 ft wide by 20 ft tall rear patio and operates perfectly. Highly recommend!!
